Saturday Quines crowned champions
FRASERBURGH'S 'Saturday Quines' have been crowned the winners of Division 1 Section A in the Scottish Womens Indoor Bowling Association competition for 2009-10.
Despite not playing their last two games due to weather conditions for travelling, the team had enough points to ensure they claimed the title.
They now have to play in a Promotional play-off at East Fife on 6th March against either Abbeyview or Balbardie, who play in the quarter finals as Fraserburgh received an unexpected bye to get to the semi final.
"Any Ladies who play in the Leisure Centre and are interested in joining our team on Saturdays are most welcome as new team members are always needed," said a spokesperson for the team.
