On May 16, the sun shone down on the annual Fraserburgh Fishermen’s Mission Golf Tournament at Inverallochy Golf Club, the 13th time the event has been run.
A great day was had by all who took part, with a total of 36 teams of three players each taking part to make this year a resounding success.
The event will also greatly aid the fundraising of the Mission, as will the sponsorship provided by Westward Fishing Co.
The tournament was run as a stableford round, enabling all abilities to take part on the day with the winning team being the Uberous, and the Castlewood taking the runners up prize.
The individual event was won by Fraserburgh Harbour Master, Andrew Ironside, with the lowest scratch score of 71 for the day.
Superintendent Miriam Kemp is extremely grateful to all who took part in making it such a great day.
Special thanks go to the team who worked behind the scenes to make it all happen, Christine Simpson, Kenny Reid, Robert Stephen, and those who helped out on the day, including Ian Gatt, Diane Ireland and Superintendent Alex Campbell.
Thanks also go to the Inverallochy Golf Club who hosted the day and the ladies from the kitchen who provided meals to all.
