Charity darts marathon to benefit Westfield

The students of Westfield school are set to benefit from the proceeds of a charity dars marathon held in Sandhaven in September.

The tournament was held at the Ark Inn on September 5 with the contributions and sponorship funds going towards the purchasing of sensory equipment for the school.

Kerri Dalton. Head Teacher at Westfield School, said: “Westfield School would like to thank Mary Hill, Michael Smith and Graham Whyte for their support in completion of the darts marathon at the Ark Inn, Sandhaven on 5th September.

“A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored those who took part – particularity Michael’s rig crew.”

She continued: “This year’s contribution will support the ongoing purchase of stimulating and relaxing sensory equipment which ensures that our pupils access resources of top quality and experience the best in recent design.”
