FFC Golf Classic a success

Fraserburgh Football Club recently held their annual Golf Classic, seeing a good turnout and raising funds to go towards the club’s youth development fund.

The winning team was Mr Ian Ritchie’s ‘MV Ocean Dawn’.

Ocean Dawn had a fantastic score of 52 - a record for the event which is now in its 10th year.

Mr James Ritchie, competitor and team member of Findlays Fish Bar, had a hole in one at the 17th hole with a wedge. A special well done to him.

A massive special thanks also goes to all of the teams who supported Fraserburgh Football Club’s event.

Without them, the day would not have been possible.

Final placings were as follows:

1st Ocean Dawn 52

2nd MV Adorne (team 2) 54

3rd Findlays Fish Bar 56

4th MV Sunbeam 57

A FFC spokesman said: “The day was a tremendous success, raising much needed funds for the youth development fund.”
