Fraserburgh Cricket Club held it’s annual Marshall Bell’s 7 a side tournament on Sunday with teams from Methlick, Ellon and Inverurie all coming along to take part.

The team hosted Ellon, Inverurie and Melthlick crickets clubs in a day full of entertaining and close games of cricket where every team at least won one of their three games. With winners being Inverurie who won by wickets taken after tieing with Ellon on two wins each.

For the team themselves, despite two heavy defeats to Ellon and Methlick, they managed to bounce back and inflict the winners Inverurie only defeat of the day.

The highlight of the day surely belonged to Inveruruie’s George Hadden who took a hat trick in their win over Ellon which also proved to be the decisive moment of the day.

Broch CC would like to thank everyone who took part and also to the Lawrance’s girls for helping out providing food and drink for the day.
