A recent open golf tournament and dance hosted by Inverallochy Golf Club has raised £4,100 for the Breast Cancer Care Centre in Aberdeen.
The tournament was a great success, with over 100 local gents, ladies and junior golfers turning out on what was a sunny autumn’s day.
Many of the golfers then replaced their golf shoes with their dancing shoes and danced the night away to local band Boderline.
Chief Organiser Joy Heron can be seen presenting a cheque to Professor Heys from the Breast Cancer Care Centre.
Joy said: “I would like to thank Inverallochy Golf Club and everyone at the club, and all volunteers, for their help, all the local businesses and people who handed in prizes and donations.
“The day was a great success and the money that was raised has gone to great charity which is very close to my heart.”
