Bodyslams and hiptosses return to Fraserburgh this April with WrestleZone ready for action at theDalrymple Hall.

The annual event will be headlined by a defence of the Undisputed Championship by current title-holder Scotty Swift.

The “Red-Haired Warrior” is closing in on one year as champion, but he faces a huge challenge in top contender “King of Catch” Aspen Faith.

These two have fought before in the Broch back in June 2014, with Aspen picking up the pinfall victory.

These days, it is Scotty Swift who is the ascendancy and he will be looking to even the score on Saturday, April 9.

Scotty said: “Aspen Faith continues to improve as a wrestler and I know he is a much tougher challenge now than last time we squared-off.

“I have faced many tough challengers, but I know Aspen has the tools to one day be champion. I might not appreciate his methods, but on his day he is one of the very best wrestlers in Scotland.

“Next Saturday, I will have to be wary of his tricks as I plan on walking out still the Undisputed Champion.”

The Broch extravaganza will feature six top wrestling matches in a family-friendly environment that encourages fans to cheer, laugh and boo along with the wrestlers.

Also set to appear are grapplers like Crusher Craib, Johnny Lions and Kaden Garrick – with WrestleZone host excited for another super night of action. Entry to the event is pay-at-the-door only priced £12 for adults and £10 for under 14s. Doors open at 7pm with the action underway from 7.30pm.
