Members of 6.1.0 Dance Academy hosted four shows in one night at the Dalrymple Hall recently.

Local dancers of all ages completed the huge task of putting on the show ‘You Should Be Dancing’ earlier this month.

The dancers entertained their audiences with various dance styles and music ranging from Elvis to Justin Bieber and Britney Spears to Lady Gaga.

6.1.0 Dance Academy held two junior shows and two senior shows with a cast of over 200 enthusiastic dancers.

Commenting, Stephen Summers of 6.1.0 Dance Academy said: “Every dancer put on a fantastic performance and worked really hard during the build up to the show.

“I’m extremely proud of them all and hope they had a great time at the show.

“I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped out behind the scenes throughout the day and to everyone who donated raffles.

“Personal highlights for me included a Britney Spears Megamix performed by the Tuesday Seniors, Jailhouse Rock performed by the Thursday P1-3 and everyone involved in the 6.1.0 Disco Finale,” he added.
