At the meeting of Fraserburgh Photographic Society held on April 19 members reviewed images sent in by Matt Johnstone.

Mr Johnstone is a Scottish Photographic Federation judge and has had images exhibited internationally, winning many awards.

The images covered a wide range of subject matter from ‘nature’ to ‘sports’, including his competition winning images.

They provided members with discussion point about composition - when to break the golden rules of composition and get away with it, about how images can be manipulated on computers, and how changing the angle of the shot can make all the difference

The meeting tonight is a digital imaging tutorial led by Paul Woodburn. The May 3 meeting is postponed.
