Chevron’s Focus Environment exhibition, featuring the photographic works of school children across the country, has stopped off in Fraserburgh’s Lighthouse Museum this month.
On the opening night of the exhibition, invited guests were welcomed to the museum where the attraction’s staff had put on a fine display of their own with the in-house caterers providing a glimpse of the delicacies on offer in the newly refurbished café.
Following the event, the museum’s business manager, Gary Campbell, revealed that Chevron had kindly donated £15,000 to the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses,, telling the Fraserburgh Herald he was “absolutely delighted” with how the evening went.
“We’ve hosted the Focus Environment exhibition here for well over a decade n ow.
“Chevron have always supported us with that because, you know, it’s a very big attraction locally.
“Everybody who was at the evening seemed to be absolutely delighted, there was a beautiful seafood buffet that people got tucked into so they were very happy,” he said.
The Focus Environment exhibition will be on display at the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses until April 18, and is available to view for free for everyone within the AB43 area code.
