Fraserburgh Photographic Society’s AGM was held on April 11.

The elected members were as follows for the new season:

Secretary/Treasurer – Andrew West;

Competition Secretary (External) - Stanley Partridge;

Competition Secretary (Club) – Paul Woodburn;

Competition Secretary (Print/Theme) – Norman Robertson;

Committee member – Joe Watt;

The minutes of the last AGM were read out and approved, and the financial report was also approved.

It was agreed that the annual subs would remain the same.

There was a long discussion about the program for 2013/14 and it was noted that the season would start on December 5.

Furthermore, there would be weekly meetings up until December 12, breaking for Christmas, and then returning on January 9 until April 25 for weekly meetings of the society.

Similarly, it was decided that there would be six open, monthly competitions with three taking place before Christmas and three after.

There would also be two open print competitions and two themed competitions, the subjects being ‘Decay and Dereliction’ and ‘Night Time’.

It was agreed to continue with the digital imaging tutorials but that the content of each one would be dependent on subjects brought up by members.

When full details of the program are available, they will be published on the Fraserburgh Photographic Society’s website at
