Queen’s Baton headed to Broch’s lighthouse museum

The Queen’s Baton will visit Fraserburgh as part of a tour of the country ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

Along the way to Glasgow, it will stop at the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, giving locals a chance to see the Baton ahead of the opening ceremony of the Games.

The Queen’s Baton Relay will enter Fraserburgh on Sunday, June 29, at 4:22pm.

On its way to the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses, crowds can catch a glimpse of the baton as it travels through Watermill Road, College Bounds, Denmark Street and Quarry Road.

It will leave via High Street, Broad Street, Firthside Street, Cross Street, Saltoun Place, Maconochie Road and the new Community and Sports Centre.
