Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society is calling on all actors, technicians and designers to help make this year’s production of ‘Aladdin’ a success.

The FJAS is on the look for anyone academy aged and older to become part of the team and put their hard work and talents to use to make sure this year’s pantomime the best it can be.

Whether you are a theatrical genie or not, those selected to help will need to be prepared to attend rehearsals on Tuesdays, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons in the lead up to the opening day - an ever popular event in the North-east calendar.

Auditions to take part in this year’s pantomime are being held in the Dalrymple Hall and Arts Centre on Tuesday, August 19, at 7:30pm.

This year’s pantomime, ‘Aladdin’, will be helmed by the creative team of locals Jeanette Gray and Lewis Platt.

Mr Platt commented: “I have been in the Society for many years, but never thought I’d beproducing a panto. I am so lucky and privileged to be given this opportunity. This is one thing that I will be ticking off my bucket list.”

Both Lewis Platt and Jeanette Gray are said to be looking forward to the challenge.
