Grand Lodge members set for charity walk

AS PART of the Grand Masters Charity project to commemorate the centenary of the Grand Lodge building and 275th anniversary of the Grand Lodge of Scotland, the Province of Aberdeenshire East is organising a sponsored walk from Lodge Leask in Maud to Lodge Ugie in Mintlaw, a distance of five miles, along the disused railway line.

Walkers will leave Maud at midday on Sunday, August 7, and at the end of the walk there will be a cheque presentation to CHAS from the Grand Master Mason and a further cheque byu a representative of the Supreme Council, Dr David K. Huggan.

Thereafter there will be refreshments snacks etc in the Garret Bar on the Square at Mintlaw.

Any Brethren, wives, partners and families of surrounding Provinces are being invited to join the sponsored walk on that day.
