Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society will hold open auditions for an amateur production of ‘Back to the 80s, The Totally Awesome Musical’ next week.

The auditions will take place at the Fraserburgh Dalrymple Hall and Arts Centre on Tuesday, January 27, at 7.30pm.

The society is looking for children from primary 6 to sixth year of secondary school.

Commenting, Back to the 80s producer Stephen Summers said: “This musical is set in the US, and is focused on the graduating class of William Ocean High School as they live through their final senior year.

“They will experience the fun, the heartbreak, the loves and the loneliness of growing up, all set to the biggest hits of the 80’s including Kids In America, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Total Eclipse of the Heart.

“Our version will combine a feel-good story with high energy dancing and singing. We know Fraserburgh has lots of talented boys and girls who can make this show a sellout success!”
