Organisers of Tesco’s Got Talent have hailed this year’s competition a great success, with a host of performers taking part in the annual event.

Entertainment-lovers turned out in droves to see singers, musicians and actors perform at the event, which was held at the Dalrymple Hall recently.

Tesco employees Martin Wisely and Alyson Mowat were the comperes for the evening, with Alice Irvine, Carol Massie and Chris Byrne acting as the competition judges.

Among the acts taking part were AJ West, the Dull and Bright Worlds, Extreme Harmony, John McDaniels, Lochpots School Choir, Scott Innes, Shaun Simes and the Tesco Service Superstars.

But it was singer Shaun Simes who emerged victorious and lifted the Tesco’s Got Talent trophy.

AJ West and Lochpots School Choir finished in second and third place respectively.
