The Music Hall in Aberdeen is looking forward to welcoming an award-winning funny man for a performance later this year.
As part of a UK tour, Danny Bhoy will take his latest show, Please Untick This Box, to the city venue on Thursday, September 18.
Commenting, Danny said: “I’m really looking forward to going on tour, I thrive off making people laugh.
“I adore the amount of freedom you have in stand-up and I have the same sense of excitement as I have ever had. “I love being on stage and can’t wait to see the fans again.”
The Scottish-Indian comedian from Dumfries and Galloway began performing stand-up in 1998 and then went on to scoop The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award one year later - the biggest national competition in the UK for new comics.
In 2001 he began performing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and within seven days he sold out his entire three-week run. He has performed at the event every year ever since, except for 2007.
His first two DVDs were a massive success and in 2012 he recorded his first internationally-acclaimed DVD in Edinburgh, Live at the Festival Theatre.
As well as regular appearances on Canada’s Just For Laughs galas, he has also performed on Live At The Apollo and The David Letterman Show and recorded a highly prestigious one-hour Comedy Central Special which aired in North America.
Tickets for the show cost £16 and are available to purchase online from aberdeenperformingarts.com, by calling 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
