An Edinburgh-based contemporary dance company will visit Inverurie later this month as part of a rural tour of Scotland.
Errol White Company premiered IAM in 2012 to critical acclaim before embarking on a national tour.
Back on the road this year, IAM will be at Inverurie Academy on Saturday, March 29, for a show presented by NEAT (North East Arts Touring) and March Moves 2014.
According to promotional material, IAM delves into the event that changes everything, a moment in time that has such power and momentum it affects your past and future with an intensity that has no limits.
Set to an electronic sound-score by Portuguese composer/sound designer, Tiago Cerqueira, six dancers explore the effects a monumental event can provoke in the people that are closest and how their reactions propagate through the individuals affected.
Devised from a personal place, IAM celebrates the marks we leave on each other as we pass through life.
Errol White Company was founded in 2010 and has swiftly become recognised as an exciting, visionary contemporary dance company.
It is led by multi-award winning dancers, Errol White and Davina Givan, who collaborate on each innovative new work.
Tickets for the Inverurie Academy performance, which is at 7.30pm, are £8, concessions £6, family of four £25.
