Oh What A Night in store for Peterhead music lovers

Local performer and director Alasdair Corbett is staging “Oh What a Night” on Friday, May 31.

The fundraiser, in aid of Cancer Research UK, will feature some extremely talented singers, dancers and a musician mostly from Peterhead with some participants from Aberdeen.

Lasadiar told the Buchanie: “I haven’t performed in Peterhead for some time and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to organise the event.

“It promises to be a terrific evening packed with a variety of styles from musical theatre to modern pop, swing, freestyle dancing, tap dancing and a saxophone player. Along with some doric comedy.

“Dr Iain Small will be compere for the evening and will also be performing a sketch.”

So far those confirmed to appear are Alasdair, Gillian Park, Chelcie Grant, Robyn Mitchell, Catriona Molver, Rhianne Reid, Joanne Smith, Rhona Johnston, Ryan Peacock, Angela Ireland, Courtney Murphy, Stephanie Bruce, Leanne Smith, Katie Daniel, Sophie Hamilton, Stephanie Longmuir, Hannah McKenzie, Victoria Cowan and Callum Anderson, with a sketch by Sheena Booth.
