Frozen Charlotte will put on an interactive outdoor theatrical experience this autumn for yo ung audiences across the north.
Woodland Creatures will tour Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands in September, bringing audiences out of hibernation whilst appreciating the nature on their doorsteps.
Devised to inspire children aged 2-8 through creative engagement, Woodland Creatures is an interactive outdoor theatrical show, pioneering a natural and safe way for families to engage and creatively play during these socially distanced times.
A team of northern based creatives have been assembled including puppeteer and circus performer Rachael Macintyre, actor and musician David Rankine, performers from Out Of The Darkness Theatre Company, designer Kate Mckay, and producer Cameron Mowat; guided by artistic director Heather Fulton.
However, the charity is looking to find one more performer to join the team.
They should be an actor-musician, ideally based in the north or north east and have a passion for performing.
Auditions will commence late May with rehearsals starting August 23 and will tour Moray w/c September 6, Highland w/c September 20, and Aberdeenshire w/c September 27.

“Through celebrating the amazing talent and stunning natural environments here in the north east we are able to create a Covid-secure show that will inspire playfulness and bring joy to children and their loved ones and friends.”
Woodland Creatures is produced in partnership with Dance North’s ‘Rise’ Festival, Eden Court, North East Arts Touring and Out Of The Darkness Theatre Company; funded by Creative Scotland’s Touring Fund.
