Visitors to a Fraserburgh cemetery will soon be able to avail of a new bus shelter when they visit loved ones who have passed on.
The new shelter will be built at Kirkton Cemetery on the same side of the road as the burial ground.
It means that those travelling back to Fraserburgh will be protected from the elements while they wait for a bus.
Fraserburgh and District Councillor Brian Topping said he was glad the new shelter was going to be provided.
He said: “Quite a number of elderly people who were going to visit loved ones were getting soaking wet waiting for a bus so the bus stop will get cover in the next couple of months.
“It will benefit all people who don’t have a car.”
