Plans have been submitted to turn the betting shop into an Indian takeaway.

The applicant Nagendra Budha is seeking planning permission to change the use of the premises at 6 Gallowhill Road, which is currently a betting shop operated by Coral.

The application is included in the public notices section of this week’s Fraserburgh Herald which contains the latest information about the key goings on in our local communities.

Public notices are placed to highlight planning proposals which impact on protected areas as well as alcohol and licensing applications, which are subject to public consultation.

It also contains information about major road closures and changes to traffic regulations.
