Broch Bike Festival draws huge crowd
This year’s Broch Bike Festival has drawn a huge crowd of motorbike enthusiasts, with visitors travelling miles to enjoy the event.
The festival, now in its third year, was held at the Leisure Centre in Fraserburgh last weekend.
Visitors came from as far as Stoke and Leeds to be part of the festival, which included an array of motorbikes and stalls.
As well as the main Bike Festival event during the day, there was also live music - with four live bands performing in the evening.
The Bike Show was sponsored by Motorparts Fraserburgh, with proceeds of the Bike Festival going to Isla’s Dream.
The event was organised via the North East Scotland Custom Bike Scene Facebook page.
Fraserburgh man Charlie Reid, who was one of the organisers of the event, commented: “I feel it’s going brilliantly. This is the third show we’ve done but the first we’ve done independently as the first two were part of the Broch Gala.
“There’s a band on in about 20 minutes and we’re really excited about tonight - there seems to be a real buzz about the events.
“I think it’s good for the Broch and bringing people into the town as well.”
