The Fraserburgh and district Men’s Probus Club visited the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses on Wednesday, April 23.
After tea and scones, they made their way to the engine room, the lighthouse, and the Wine Tower.
Their guide on the way was Michael Strachan, collections manager, who explained in detail all the workings of the lighthouse and related some very interesting stories connected to the lighthouse and Wine Tower. Bob Sim gave the vote of thanks. The next meeting will be on May 14, the AGM, followed by a slide show by member Andrew West.
