The Fraserburgh and District Men’s Probus Club met in the South Church Hall on Wednesday, February 11.
Ernie Reid was on door duty.
The Club’s speaker was Colin Jeffrey, secretary of the RAF Boyndie Airfield Association who gave a talk and slideshow on the operations during World War Two at Boyndie Airfield near Banff, when the RAF bombed German shipping off the coast of Norway during the latter stages of the war.
This proved very interesting to all the Club members.
The vote of thanks was given by Brian McCann.
The Club’s next meeting is on February 25, when the speaker will be Sandy May who will give a talk on “Buchan - Men of Distinction”.
