The March meeting of the New Pitsligo WRI was opened by President Mrs Chrissie Laird.
Mrs Sheila Joss read the minutes and business was discussed.
Chrissie then introduced Mr Graham Todd from Memsie who was to give a talk on photography.
Graham took the members through ten basic practical steps, explaining as he went along, how to get the best out of your digital camera.
Just by making some simple changes and knowing how to select your subject in the right light and angle could make all the difference.
He also explained ways to get the best possible effect with flash photography.
After a question and answers session Graham very kindly judged the competitions.
Results as follows:
1st: Kathleen Laird; 2nd: Margaret Calder; 3rd: Anne Milne.
Nursery Picture (any craft): 1st : Chrissie Laird; 2nd: Lesley Lord; 3rd: Sheila Joss.
A welcome cup of tea was then served and the raffles drawn before Mrs Marlene Laird gave the vote of thanks to bring an enjoyable evening to a close.
