Tasty treats for Pitsligo WRI

On August 21 ,members visited Salmon Bothy, Portsoy, where Len Murray acted as their guide for the afternoon.

The September meeting opened with Mrs Joie Barrack introduced Lorna Ross and her daughter Emily who gave the ladies a cookery demonstration.

Lorna talked the New Pitsligo WRI through a variety of recipes, such as pork with chilli, chocolate and tomato sauce, whisky bread, butter pudding and pistachio, passion-fruit and chocolate cheesecake.

Best of all, at the end of the demonstration, the members were given the opportunity to taste everything that was prepared.
