After the success of previous shows Tesco’s Got Talent is returning to Fraserburgh in April.
Tesco are looking for 12 acts to take to the stage and perform what it is the do best. The competition is open to anyone and everyone and there is no age limit on applicants however if you are under the age of 16 you will need a parent or guardian’s signature.
Last year’s competition was organised by staff at Tesco’s Fraserburgh to raise funds for Alzheimer Scotland and Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society.
Last year consisted of singers, dancers and also a guitarist but any type of talent is welcome for the competition.
Last year’s winner Karen Masson provided “the biggest surprise of the night” with her performance of Never Alone. Her great song choice and “crystal clear pitch and tone” set a very high standard for performers to follow.
A very special guest performance from Susan Boyle aka Jeanette Gray provided “the best entertainment of the night.” Jeanette had the audience in fits of laughter and had her performance “down to a tee.”
Judges returned after a short interval having had a very difficult decision to make and announced that Karen Masson was the ultimate winner with duo X-treme Harmony and Susan Boyle runners up.
Applications forms are available to fill out at the Customer Services desk in Tesco. The 12 acts will be picked on a first come, first served basis and costs £10 to enter.
Tesco’s Got Talent 2012 will be held at the Darlypmple Hall on Saturday April 28 and there will also be a rehearsal for performers on Friday 27.
Tickets will go on sale when the final 12 acts are confirmed.
