ADEN Country Park is hosting an afternoon of musical entertainment this Saturday (August 20).
The outdoor festival will feature a range of music from traditional to folk, jazz to pop rock.
One of the organisers behing the event, Aberdeenshire Farming Museum tour guide Ian Cheyne, hopes the afternoon will not only provide entertainment for lcoal folk but also raise awareness of what Aden has to offer.
He told the Buchanie: “Aden Country Park really does have a wealth to offer both lcoal people and visitors alike. The park itself, with its walks and attractions, the farming museum andHareshow Farm all prove very popular.
“But we are keen to explore other possibilities and really raise the profile of the park in general.
“What’s more, the courtyard in front of the farming museum lends itself brilliantly as a stage for such performances.”
Saturday’s family-friendly event - runningfrom 1.30pm till 3.3pm - will see a gathering of some of the area’s finest musicians who are relishing the chance to perform in this relaxed atmosphere.
There will also b ea barbecue, and if you fancy making a day of it remember the last entry to the farming museum is at 3.30pm tying in nicely with the closing of the performances.
