A local care worker has been named Manager of the Year at the sixth annual Meallmore Awards.
Arlene Campbell, who has been manger of Crimond House Care Home for only a year, picked up the accolade after judges said she had been committed to achieving and maintaining excellent standards.
As well as providing the highest level of care to residents, Arelene has worked hard to create a learning and development culture within the staff team, and is known for her kind and inviting nature.
Residents, families and visiting professionals have commented on how impressed they have been with Arlene over the past year.
Speaking about her win, Arlene said: “It feels superb to win because I was up against such incredible people, all of whom do a great job.
“I’d like to thank everyone who nominated me and Meallmore for a great day. We work for such a great company who values every member of staff and today just shows that.”
