Tickets go on sale this Saturday (May 14) for Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society’s latest production ‘Memories are made of this’.
The extra special production is also a public thank you from FJAS to Fraserburgh 4th Company Boys Brigade.
Rehearsals have been on-going, twice a week, since late February with the cast and production crew working hard to provide locals with a very entertaining show of the highest standard.
The production will run three days, from Monday, May 30 until Wednesday, June 1 starting at 7.30pm.
The Herald caught up with the 4th Company Boys Brigade at rehearsals this week, with BB Captain Martin Dunbar explaining how for many this will be their first experience of performing.
“For many of the boys this will be their first stage performance and they were very shy when we began rehearsals,” he said. “However their confidence has grown so much during these last few months and they are all thoroughly enjoying it.”
The 4th Company Boys Brigade will be performing a potted panto written by Margaret Moffat during the show which is also a fundraiser for Fraserburgh 4th Company Boys Brigade.
Martin added: “The 4th Company Boys Brigade are delighted to be involved with Fraserburgh Junior Arts and would like to thank all the members of FJAS who have given up their time and effort to raise funds for us.”
Tickets go on sale at the Dalrymple Hall on May 14 priced at £7 for balcony seats and £5 for stalls.
