Bellslea and Pana run rampant in Nightclub League

The Deejays Nightclub League saw a weekend of games as both Bellslea and Panasonic Tavern run rampant.

New Deer entertained Bellslea and the home side took the lead with a goal from Lewis Neil.

Back came Bellslea who levelled with a goal from the penalty spot. Two minutes into the second half the away side took the lead.

McRobb then saved a penalty from Kyle Tait. Bellslea went on to score three more goals in the second half to run out winners by five goals to one.

Their goals came from Weynss, Tait and Ross with Fraser Watt scoring two goals to help Bellslea win the game.

There was also some Sunday games in the Deejays Nightclub League as Clinton Thistle entertained St Drostan.

Summers in the away goal was first in action pushing a Slater shot over the bar. Morrice for St Drostan was played in on goal but keeper Stewart saved twice. Humphries was next to try a shot but Summers saved easily.

St Drostans were holding their own until a minute before half time when the home side took the lead against the run of play when Milne beat two players on the right and his cross fell to Slater to fire into the roof of the net.

McDonnell who came on at half time was played in on goal and his shot beat the keeper but came back of the post.

On 60 minutes Clinton were awarded a penalty, up stepped Scott Milne who shot low towards the corner but Summers made a brilliant save.

At the other end St Drostans manager Summers was played in on goal and he tried to lobb the keeper and it went narrowly over the bar.

Clinton were awarded another penalty which Stuart Fowlie took and sent the keeper the wrong way to make it two nil to the home side.

St Drostans were reduced to ten men when Matthew Bain was then sent off. Morrice received the ball on the left and he crossed for substitute to pull one back for the away side.

Whyte went on a mazy run on the left and his shot was brilliantly saved by Summers.

Elizabethan Link Up were facing Panasonic Tavern in their league match and the home side poor run of results continue with the away side winning by seven goals to two.

The winning goals were scored by Danny Booth who had a great game and grabbed himself a hatrick, Dane Ballard with a brace and one each from Charles Cross and Kevin Cameron.

Replying for the home side Clint Cassie and Brent Bruce, Panasonic finished the match with ten men after Kevin Cameron was sent off.

Deejays Nightclub League - St Combs v Elizabethan Link Up; New Pitsligo v Panasonic Tavern; Faithlie United v St Drostans; Rosehearty Thistle v Mormond Thistle; New Deer v Cheers (each game scheduled to kick off at 2pm).
