The Fraserburgh Football Club Golf Classic is shaping up to be a great weekend.
The directors and committee are inviting everyone, to enjoy and support the club in this year’s golf classic tournament, which will involved a three-course meal and prizegiving after the day’s play.
Speaking to the Herald, club chairman Findlay Noble said: We have been doing the Golf Classic for a few years now.
“We were unfortunate to get washed out by the rain last year. The event is organised by Iain Findlay and is run as a professional event. We always appreciate all of the teams that come in and take part.”
The event is to be held at Fraserburgh Golf Club on August 5.
The rules for this year’s tournament are a shotgun start at 12.30pm (everyone will start at the same time) with Texas Scramble rules (teams of four).
Transport will be proided to shuttle golfers, to and from their allocated holes.
The Golf Classic is to continue raising funds for the football club and youth policy which was highly commended by the SFA.
The event costs £220 per team of four and those wishing to reserve their places should phone club director David Milne on 07831 354 630 or Ian Findlay 0776 422 83 23.
