Brochers have taken to their computers to slam dog owners who continually fail to clean up after their dog via the Facebook group ‘Fraserburgh- brochers and proud of it’.
The discussion, which has attracted over 100 comments from the group’s members draws attention to the problem of dog fouling in Fraserburgh yet again, an issue that has shown no signs of diminishing in the past several months.
Fraserburgh resident Doug Simpson, who had become fed up of seeing dog mess on his street, has installed his own ‘anti dog mess’ signs at his home.
The issue has also been raised at several Community Council meetings, with community councillors making their feelings known on the subject to Fraserburgh and District councillors.
Dog owners who fail to pick up after their dog can face a fine if caught.
