BrewDog co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie have revealed that they will star in a second season of a television show airing in the United States.

The pair had starred in ‘Brew Dogs’ over the past year which had proven successful enough for the local lads to sign up for a second.

Airing on the Esquire network on the US, the show currently holds a 7.8 rating, out of 10, on the Internet Movie Database.

The first season saw James and Martin travel the States for ‘craft beer enlightenment’.

Ahead of the show first launching, they announced on their official website: “We’ve dabbled with TV appearances in the past, but hold onto your hop heads folks because we’re taking craft beer TV to a whole new level. We’re taking the crazy, zany, weird and wonderful world of BrewDog you know and love, and injecting your TV screens for some high voltage viewing.”

It had been hoped that the show would air in the United Kingdom in the future.

Season two of the show will see the duo continue to travel across America with their passion of craft beers and will air later in the year over 10 episodes.

2014 has already seen the locally founded company head towards the completion of a Japan-based BrewDog bar, BrewDog Tokyo, and launch BrewDog Sheffield.

A dedicated BrewDog bottle shop, based in London, is also expected to open this year. BottleDog, as it will be called, will feature BrewDog, domestic, and international crafts, as well as homebrewing equipment.

Now based in Ellon, BrewDog maintain their Fraserburgh branch at the Kessock Industrial Estate for smaller batch projects.
