Peterhead Projects Limited is hoping for a fantastic summer ahead with the opening of its Lido Caravan Park for the 2016 season.
The local development trust has operated the popular tourist destination since 2012 and has seen steady growth in visitor numbers.
Nestled alongside the award-winning Lido beach and marina, the caravan park is the perfect base for touring caravans, motorhomes and campers.
It enjoys 3-star status with Visit Scotland and 3 Pennant status with the AA.
Recent investment by the trust has included the installation of solar panels to the utility block and a replacement static caravan for rental.
In addition to the 13 privately-owned static caravans on site, PPL rents out its own roomy static which accommodates five people and which is ideal for families.
The Lido park – which commands a superb location overlooking the bay and busy marina – can accommodate 25 touring caravans at any one time.
It also provides the perfect base for those exploring the attractions the North-east of Scotland has to offer.
Manning the caravan park once again this year will be wardens Veronica and Bill Johnston who are looking forward to welcoming visitors old and new alike for the season ahead.
The caravan park opened its doors on Friday and will remain open until October 23.
