A new £1.5million Fraserburgh facility to support vulnerable children, their families and carers openeded its doors last week.
The Family Resource Centre on Argyll Road will ensure that children get the right help at the right time.
The centre is located close to Westfield School, which will enable close partnership working across Education and Children’s Services and with other agencies.
The moderncentre will allow children and families to receive help and support within a purpose built environment situated within their own community.
The centre’s clients are able to use the facility as of last week but the building will not be officially opened until after the election.
The new centre increases the number of Family Resource Centres across Aberdeenshire to 11.
