On Thursday, February10, Stanley Partridge took Fraserburgh Camera CLub members all the way from the North-east of Scotland to the South coast of England (mainly to visit his grand-daughter) but taking in some interesting places en route.
Lockerbie with its well tended graveyard of remembrance.....
The Lake District with its marvellous hills and dales and nearing the coast, the New Forest and Dartmoor with ponies and foals wandering in the protected environment......
Stanley felt he must visit Land’s End and took in the Eden Project, giving the club a detailed look at this climate-controlled masterpiece set in a disused clay sandpit.
His presentation was cleverly-supported with gentle music and he gave us an add-on with entertaining light-hearted items that really tickled the members.
It was generally agreed as being a jolly good evening.
Back to school everybody on Thursday, February 24, when Paul Woodburn extends the Digital Imaging Tutorial to widen expereince in this modern medium.
