Aberdeenshire Care & Repair is to host a series of public drop-in sessions at libraries across the North-east.
The events will involve members of staff being present to answer any queries, provide information and leaflets, and if necessary make further arrangements for a home visit.
Care & Repair is funded by Aberdeenshire Council to deliver the Scheme of Assistance, the aim of which is to provide information, advice and practical assistance to homeowners and private sector tenants throughout Aberdeenshire to help them repair, maintain and improve their homes.
The service can provide information leaflets, details of reliable contractors, advice on work required and quotations, plus carry out a home visit if more detailed advice is required about identifying or prioritising the work required.
As part of the strategy, Aberdeenshire Care & Repair will be hosting the public drop-in session at the following libraries:
Inverurie - Wednesday, January 30 - 5.30pm-7.30pm
Ellon - Thursday, January 31 - 11am-1pm
Mintlaw - Monday, February 4 - 4-6pm
New Pitsligo - Tuesday, February 5 - 4-6pm
Strichen - Thursday, February 7 - 3-5pm
Peterhead Arbuthnot House - Monday, February 11 - 2-4pm; Peterhead Library - 5-6pm
Fraserburgh - Tuesday, February 12 - 2-4pm; 5-6pm
Kemnay - Wednesday, February 13 - 3-5pm
Kintore - Wednesday, March 6 - 10am-12noon
Cairnbulg - Wednesday, March 12 - 10am-12noon
Meldrum - Wednesday, March 20 - 2-4pm
