Charity ball raises over £3K for Cancer Research UK

Three local girls organised a charity ball at the Ban-Car Hotel, Lonmay, on Friday, October 5, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The event was hailed a success with over 100 people attending.

Ashleigh Buchan, Tracey Harper and Jayde McBride would like to thank all who attended the charity ball.

Everyone had a great night, with the meal and service at the Ban-Car being excellent.

The total amount raised from the charity ball was £3,063.60.

Ashleigh, Tracey and Jayde would similarly like to thank David and Sharon at the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for donating the champagne for the reception, Tina and staff at the Ban-Car Hotel for everything they did to help before, during and after the event, Angela Campbell for taking the photographs on the night, Michael, Rachel, Steve and Alan at Mustang for
entertaining all on evening, Berryfields at Auchtydonald for donating strawberries, Brian at Watermill Coaches for providing the transport to and from the venue, and Elizabeth and Kenny at
Peter’s Ices for donating the ice-cream.
