Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses following the theft of agricultural machinery in the Strichen area of Aberdeenshire.

The incident happened between 6pm on Friday, October 2 and 8.30am on Saturday, October 3 at a farm on the outskirts of the village.

A Massey Ferguson 390 tractor, registered number L122 UGB and a Massey Ferguson 38 Cultivator were stolen.

The vehicles are have a ‘low, five-figure sum’ value.

Investigating Officer PC Camilla McIntosh said: We are very keen to speak to anyone who may have knowledge of these distinctive pieces of farm equipment.

“We would encourage anyone who may be offered equipment similar to this to come forward with details.”
