Police have appealed to the public to assist with tracing a man who approached a nine-years-old boy in the Noble Street area of Fraserburgh.
Around 4.30pm on Thursday, November 17, the man approached and spoke to a nine-years-old boy on Noble Street. Police would like to trace and speak to the man to establish why he spoke to the boy.
The man is described as aged 21 to 40 years old, approximately 5'8" in height, proportionate build, wearing a black jacket with a hood, white or grey jogging bottoms and had a scarf over his mouth.
Sergeant Martin MacDougall said: "The boy was not injured in any way but was a little shaken by this man's approach. There is nothing to suggest that any criminality has taken place however we want to trace this man so we can establish why he spoke to the child.
"It is also believed another male who was wearing a fluorescent jacket may have been in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident. We would like to speak to him also."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
