Police in Fraserburgh are appealing for information after two men were assaulted on Sunday, December 15 in the Broad Street area.
The incident happened between 3.15am and 3.30am and the five male suspects are described as being in their late teens to early twenties and wearing jeans and hooded tops.
One of the men was wearing a distinctive two-tone jacket while another had ginger hair and was wearing white shirt and tie.
PC Keith Rennie said: “The area would have been busy with patrons from local licensed premises at the time of the assault.
“We are keen to speak with the occupants of a small white car that was in the area and anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland.”
