POLICE arrested two people after a drugs raiod on a house in Fraserburgh’s St Andrews Drive on Monday.
Officers from Aberdeenshire Proactive Team, CID and the local Policing team executed the drug search warrant as a result of local intelligence..
Heroin and cocaine with a street value of around £4,000 was recovered, and a 27-year-old male and 22-year-old female from Fraserburgh have been charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Sergeant Steve McEwan, who led the operation, stated: “The search warrant was executed as a result of intelligence received from the local community and a dealer quantity of controlled drugs was recovered.
“We will continue to act on information provided to us by the local residents to tackle the criminal activities of dealers throughout Aberdeenshire.”
