Two males aged 16 and 17 from Fraserburgh and a 17-year-old from Aberdeen are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today (Friday, March 11) charged with numerous thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles and garages in Fraserburgh on Thursday, March 10.
PC Aileen MacGowan, of the North East Division Proactive Unit, said: “I would like to thank the public of Fraserburgh for their assistance with this inquiry.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind all residents and homeowners of the importance of locking their vehicles and homes at all times, particularly at night. It might be the difference between someone becoming the victim of a crime or not.
“Police Scotland continue to have the safety of the local community at the highest priority and urge the public to contact the force with any information relating to suspicious behaviour or any out of the ordinary activity in their area.”
