Two teenagers will appear in court of drug offences after heroin, ‘crack’ cocaine and cannabis were recovered in Fraserburgh.
The 16 and 19-year-olds will appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today after the drugs worth £950 were found along with a high three figure sum of cash.
The seizure took place in Fraserburgh on Wednesday 13 January as part of Operation Banook which was launched last October, in response to local concerns about drug use, drug dealing and violence in the Peterhead and Fraserburgh areas.
Detective Constable Gorman of the North East Division, Organised Crime Investigation Team said “We will continue to take action against the supply of drugs and organised crime in the North East of Scotland.
“We would like to thank the public for their continued support and anyone with information about drugs misuse in their community is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
