A group for children with additional support needs has received a donation from the Aberdeen Music Festival.
Local businessman John Pascoe presented a cheque for £475 on behalf of Aberdeen Music Festival to Lesley Simpson of MACBI Community Centre in Mintlaw recently.
The donation will be spent on Additional Support Needs sessions - which support children with autism and Asperger’s syndrome - at the MACBI Community Centre.
The money raised by Aberdeen Music Festival was split between a number of groups.
Commenting, John Pascoe said: “It’s a really worthwhile project and the feedback from the parents makes it all worthwhile.”
Lesley Simpson commented: “We’re absolutely chuffed to bits that somebody is willing to provide this money to help get these sessions up and running.”
Aberdeen Music Festival took place in May, with around 20 bands taking part in the event.
