A Fraserburgh youth organisation celebrated 100 years of their history by spending hours cleaning up the Broch beach .
Fraserburgh Cubs invited one member from each year of their existence to take part in the sponsored beach clean on Saturday May 21.
One-hundred-and-four Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders, parents and friends attended the beach clean
They were joined by local councillors Charles Buchan and Brian Topping in tidying the beach over a six hour period at the weekend.
Dorothy Kirkwood, who attended the beach clean, said: “Thanks to the Council Environmental Health Team who disposed of all of the nets, ropes, creels, tyres, cans, bottles, and bags of rubbish that we cleared off the beach.
“Many thanks to everyone who sponsored our young people to take part.”
