Fase One, a collaboration of three amateur art groups in Fraserburgh, along with the local Photographic Society, are bringing an exhibition of their work to members of the public from June 27 to 29.
Being held at the Dalrymple Hall and Arts Centre, the iniative is the brainchild of Fraserburgh Visual Arts Group who have, for many years, held exhibitions. This year, however, will see them team up with the Wednesday Art Group, D’Art and Fraserburgh Photographic Society to host one of the biggest events to date.
In addition to the artwork on display there will be demonstrations and workshops. Many of the artists and photographers will be on hand to explain what they do and to give advice to aspiring artists and photographers.
Throughout the weekend, there will be activities for children and adults, with memebrs of the Photographic Society giving talks and demonstations on image processing, camera craft, and composition. A small photographic studio will also be set up.
A display of bygone photographic equipment will also be on show.
Refreshments will be available and entry to the exhibition is free, although donations would not be refused.
