A packed Fishermen’s Mission hosted a carol service on Sunday, December 15, in Fraserburgh. Among those in attendance were a choir from St Andrews Primary School.
Superintendent Miriam Kemp had welcomed those who had gathered at the Mission for the 8pm event before leading the singing with several hymns and messages of goodwill. There was also a performance from David and Helen Runcie at the service.
Ms Kemp, who took over the outgoing Murray Campbell’s role at the Fraserburgh Fishermen’s Mission last year, said afterwards that the event was enjoyed by all.
She told us: “The kids were a highlight, everything was good.
“The kids were fantastic. They sang three songs which most folk hadn’t heard before, which is unusual at Christmas.
“They obviously practised very hard and they were quite professional. Helen and David [Runcie] did excellent as well.”
